I started Soft Hours as somewhere to write the parts of dating I usually only work out after the fact.
A journal, not advice.
I’m interested in the tiny things that tell you more than the big speeches do: whether you feel relaxed around someone, whether plans actually happen, whether you can be yourself without performing.
This site is mostly notes from figuring that out. Sometimes it’s about apps and first dates. Sometimes it’s about being single, friendships, confidence, or the strange little shifts that happen when your standards finally start matching your instincts.
I don’t have a perfect formula for relationships. I’m just paying closer attention now — and writing down what I notice.
